32nd Annual Hunting Expo and Banquet Fundraiser February 20 & 21, 2009
As businessmen ourselves, we know the magnitude of requests you receive daily for donations. In choosing which to support, please consider the following reasons to choose SCI AK Chapter:
Attendance: We hold the largest sportsman’s fundraiser in the State of Alaska, and in 2007, we were the third largest SCI Chapter banquet in the US. We have consistently had sellout events, with combined attendance during our two day event of over 1500. In 2009, we are moving to the huge new Dena’ina Convention Center in downtown Anchorage, with space for attendance to double.
Market Exposure: Alaska has the highest per capita of hunters holding licenses of any state in the United States. Our members and population love to hunt, fish and get outdoors! We can get at or near the value for your donation; thereby realizing its full potential and providing a marketing opportunity to your business through our program literature, brochures and website. Free booth space is available for donations valued $4000.00 or more
Leader in support of Hunters’ Rights and Wildlife Conservation: Ak Chapter uses the funds it raises to promote and protect hunters’ rights around the world. We seek out projects that help to conserve and protect our wildlife populations and habitat.

Humanitarian Causes – Your donation provides the means for Ak Chapter to support the national programs of SCI, such as SafariCare Blue Bags and Sensory Safari and to respond with assistance in times of disaster, such as the fire in Hooper Bay, AK.
