A Message to Our Sponsors

Thank you for your interest in donating to our annual fundraiser.

The Alaska Chapter is one of the top-ranked chapters in Safari Club International and won the Top Gun award in 2004, Chapter of the Year in 2007, and received the Top Gun and Diamond Conservation Awards for 2008. We consistently rank in the top five chapters and average 1200-1500 people attending our event and attaining gross revenues of over $400,000.00.

You can be assured that your donation will receive wide exposure and bring a good return. Your donation will be displayed on our website with a link to yours and will also be displayed in our quarterly newsletter, the Alaskan Hunter.  We very much appreciate our donors and give them strong recommendations to members inquiring about hunts.  To donate, contact our Hunt Coordinator at  huntcoordinator@aksafariclub.org.  Donation promotional material to support your donation can be mailed care of Hunt Coordinator, P.O. Box 770511, Eagle River, Alaska 99577. The Alaska Chapter reserves all rights to accept or reject donations as they see fit. All donations become the property of the Alaska Chapter SCI.

2011  fundraiser dates are February 24th – 26th at the Dena’ina Convention Center in Anchorage, Alaska.  Funds raised by the Alaska Chapter go towards protecting the freedom to hunt, promoting wildlife conservation and outdoor conservation, and supporting humanitarian efforts both at home and abroad. The Alaska Chapter SCI has been instrumental in supporting the Zambezi lion study, Alaska wood bison reintroduction efforts and installation of Kenai River fish tables. The Alaska Chapter is a longtime avid supporter of the Outdoor Heritage Foundation’s Youth Shooting League with programs in Anchorage, Homer and Wasilla, the statewide Becoming an Outdoors Woman programs along with many other programs conducted by the OHFA which is the official foundation of the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.

The Alaska Chapter is the leader in defending your freedom to hunt, recently leading the fight to defeat an anti-hunting initiative here in Alaska. The Alaska Chapter, in conjunction with the Friends of NRA and Sportsman’s Warehouse, played a major role in providing humanitarian relief to Hooper Bay after a tragic fire wreaked havoc on their community and recently supplied subsistence hunters in the Bethel region with a commercial meat grinder for processing their game meat.  All of this would not be possible without the generosity of our donors like you.

Thank you again for your interest in donating to the best outdoor conservation organization in Alaska and a top-ranked chapter of Safari Club International.

Sincerely,

Terry Holliday, President
For The Officers and Board of Directors
