They offer 1880’s style primitive camps with sleeping cabins, horse corrals and campfires. Your hunt will take place in the midst of 5000 acres in the Turquoise Hills. This hunt can be upgraded to include a SCI gold or silver medal record class bull. Hunt includes field dressing and hide prep and 100% of the animal is yours! This is a challenging hunt not a canned hunt, you will be hunting from an ATV or horseback for 2 days. • Northern New Mexico Trophy Bull Elk Hunt for Two!
Vince Vigil of New Mexico Hunting Adventures has donated this hunt of a lifetime for two. This is a 5-day primitive weapons hunt in a primitive weapons only area. The resident elk herds here have not been hunted with modern firearms. Hunters may use either a bow or a muzzleloader and the hunt occurs during the bugle. The dates to choose from are Sept – Oct of 2008. Successful bidders will be entered into the state-wide draw for this area by the outfitter and will have a moderately good chance of success at drawing. If not drawn, hunters will need to purchase a landowner tag for this unit at a cost of $4,500. State license fees total $797 for elk which includes all application fees.
