Disabled Veterans Appreciation Program
Info:
SCI Alaska Chapter is honored to support America’s armed forces veterans through the provision of hunting, fishing and other adventures to show our appreciation for the incredible sacrifices made by these American heroes. We are also very pleased to be joined in this effort with our partner, Sportstman’s Warehouse.
The Programs:
SCI Alaska Chapter and Sportsman’s Warehouse is now offering two distinct opportunities for our veterans.
Opportunity One:
Each year, we will provide local fishing, shooting and other outdoor adventures to groups of deserving veterans. This program will be open to a broad class of war veterans which will in large part be determined by working with key personnel at JBER.
Opportunity Two:
Eligible veterans will be selected to receive one of three or four opportunities. The winners will be selected in numerical order: first, second, third place, or fourth place. The winners will select their prize based on their placement. The Alaska Chapter of SCI reserves the right to substitute trips of like value if necessary.
The prizes are:
- Exotic Game for Blackbuck in Texas with Gil Henderson
- Alaska Bison Hunt in Delta, Alaska with Alaska Game Ranch
- 2 Day Alaska Fishing Trip for 2 on the Kenai
