A Message to Our Donors
Thank you for your interest in the Safari Club of Alaska as a donor and sponsor of 2019 Annual Fundraising Banquet. As a donor, your business is our ultimate concern and we will do our best to recommend you to our members.
The Alaska Chapter is one of the top-ranked chapters in Safari Club International and has won the Top Gun award more often in the last 11 years than any other chapter. During that time we have also been recognized as the Chapter of the Year three times and won the Diamond Conservation Award in 2009 and 2016. Our fundraiser consistently ranks in the top five among chapters worldwide and averages 1200-1500 people attending our event and attaining gross revenues of over $600,000.
Also please note that our Friday and Saturday night auction items will again be offered live on-line exposing our donor's hunting or fishing trips to several thousand potential clients. Due to our prominence and advertising efforts, last year over 40,000 people logged in to our auction.
To donate we would prefer that you click on the donor form button above; however, you can also contact our Hunt Coordinator at email@example.com. Donation promotional material to support your donation can be mailed care of Hunt Coordinator, P.O. Box 770511, Eagle River, Alaska 99577. The Alaska Chapter reserves all rights to accept or reject donations as they see fit. All donations become the property of the Alaska Chapter SCI.
2018 fundraiser dates are February 22nd – 23rd, 2019 at the Dena’ina Convention Center in Anchorage, Alaska. Funds raised by the Alaska Chapter go towards protecting the freedom to hunt, promoting wildlife conservation and outdoor education programs, and supporting humanitarian efforts both at home and abroad. The Alaska Chapter SCI has been instrumental in supporting conservation projects throughout the world, such as the Zambezi lion study, Alaska wood bison reintroduction efforts and research on North American bears and other species. The Alaska Chapter is a longtime avid supporter of the Outdoor Heritage Foundation’s education programs like the Youth Shooting League with programs in Anchorage, Chugiak, Homer, Ketchikan, Soldotna and Wasilla, the statewide Becoming an Outdoors Woman programs and many other programs conducted by the OHFA which is the official foundation of the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.
Thank you again for your interest in donating to the best hunter-conservation organization in Alaska and a top-ranked chapter of Safari Club International.
